...it was the best week ever, and we couldn't have done any better.

Dear Family, yo Whats up?

This last week of the transfer was a blast. I'm glad it's over though, lots of craziness went down. I don't really know where to begin. The only disappointing thing is that we didn't get to go to White Lotus last P-day (famous Parkour gym where people including Travis Wong train there all the time).
Other than that it was the best week ever, and we couldn't have done any better. It was a positive note to go out on for Elder Kershisnik who is leaving for the mission home tomorrow morning. We taught more lessons that I have ever taught before, and they were all really good effective lessons too. The area is in good shape and things are looking up for my new comp and I next transfer.

We met with a family at the church on Tuesday that wanted to know more about our church. It's funny too because they heard about the church watching a show called "Gang Land" where they saw some gang members and how much they changed when joining the church. We had a really powerful first lesson, and especially the first vision portion. It was just Jenny and Jerry there, the two parents, and their youngest daughter out of four other kids. They are pretty gold, They don't live in our area though, so some other elders in our zone are going to take over. That day we also had an awesome lesson with the Van Deventers, and we are teaching Shay's mom now (Barbra).

We also had 3 other investigators given to us Wednesday from Spanish work. their parents are getting taught by the Spanish Sister missionaries, but the kids feel more comfortable in English. They have come to our ward twice so far, and they seem very promising, they even want to go on the stake Trek coming up. Their names are Noey, Daisy, and Josselyn.

We have 2 recent converts that were baptized into our ward. The Duran Family, They were taught one zone over, because their fellow-shipper was the ward over the hill. They are really cool people, we are teaching them the new convert lessons now. They have a daughter that is pretty promising too that we will probably end up giving to the singles ward when she wants to meet with us. Another thing is that one investigator that we handed off to the singles ward is getting baptized in a couple weeks. I can't remember if I mentioned Joe Dubbs, but he is getting baptized on the 12th. I knew he was golden when we were first teaching him. Seems like we hand allot of people over to the singles ward, Ah well.

We finally started teaching some other people that previous missionaries knocked into. Danny and his son Daniel. Danny the father seems kind of crazy, But he lets us teach him and his son anyway. We picked up a really good member referral this week too. Her name is Julie Cronan, and she is really humble and is solid gold pretty much.

Last week we found this Latino family that all speak English. They had just set up their new basketball hoop on their garage, and their whole family was playing basket ball. We asked them if we could join in. Elder Kershisnick is pretty good at B-ball so they were all pretty amazed at his moves and dunking, because none of them knew how to play. They invited us to come back this week, so we did, and we played again, then we taught a legit lesson, and two of the daughters came to church yesterday. The whole family seemed pretty interested, but Rose, and Brisa where the most legit. We might end up giving them to the singles ward elders, but the whole family of about 9 will probably follow.

All in all we got 15 new investigators this week, which is insane, oh and we had a legit lesson with Brian McGuiness. So we have a really booming area right now, oh and I am Senior Comp now so I will probably be really stressed out for the next 6 weeks trying to figure out how to run an area and do the finer points of planning and missionary work. It'll be crazy, but awesome.

Well till next P-day, I should meet my new comp soon today.
